Wednesday 23rd August 2017 - Task Day

Task Day - Renovate the Waymarker posts on Blue, Red and Yellow tracks. Time and place to be confirmed

Wednesday 13th September 2017 - Task Day

Task Day - repairs to pond dipping platform, North side, Bomb Bay Loops. Meet at 10.00am at Five Lane Ends. Grid Ref: SE653373

Wednesday 11th October 2017 - Task Day

Task - Fillng in deep ruts caused by vehicles along the Sands Lane track. Meet at 10.00am at Sands Lane car park Grid Ref SE669379

Thursday 26th October 2017 - Task Day

Task Day - Deepen pillwort scrapes near King Rudding Lane entrance. Meet at 10.00am at King Rudding Lane car park Grid Ref SE644374

Saturday 9th September - Duck Decoy event

September at the Escrick Duck Decoy, about 1 mile southeast of Escrick, there will be a chance to see how the 19th-century Decoy was used to provide food for market and to hear how FoSC worked with Natural England and other volunteers to restore the Decoy, which is now used for bird ringing. Visitors are promised a fun day, with free activities for all! The event will run from10.00am to 4.00pm

Sunday 10th September - Skipwith Common Open Day

10th September on Skipwith Common, you can come along and meet members of Natural England, Escrick Park Estate and, of course, FoSC! There will be events throughout the day, including guided tours, mini-beast safaris, bird-ringing demos, pond dipping and sheep dog displays. Hear about the work of FoSC, including the new Skipwith heritage project. Again, all activities are free! The event are open from 10.00am to 4.00pm

Sunday 1st October - FoSC Member's Day

The day is themed around the new Skipwith heritage project 'Making a Difference', celebrating the anniversary of the opening of the WW2 Airfield 75 years ago. Meet at the Drovers Arms car park at 2.00pm. 3;30pm at Skipwith Village Hall and 5.00pm at the Drovers Arms. Please remember book if you would like to join us for the meal.
