NATURAL ENGLAND’S KNOW YOUR NATURE ACTIVITY DAY! As part of the annual celebration of the site as a National Nature Reserve, come along and find rare species, try geocaching, discover a World War II bunker or hunt for bats and moths after the sun has set (details below). The Friends of Skipwith Common will have a stall on site and will be leading an afternoon walk (see below). Evening Bat and Moth Hunt at 8.45pm We’ll be looking for bats and Dr David Chesmore and Julian Small will again be setting up their moth traps to give us the opportunity of close-up views of these night flying insects.
