Membership is £5 per year per person over 16 years old. This includes quarterly e-mailed copies of the newsletter 'Something in Common'.
Those under 16 years old have free membership that includes quarterly e-mailed copies of the newsletter.
An additional £5 charge will be made to all Members requesting a paper copy of the newsletter.
Membership fees are due on the 1st January.

OBJECTIVES
The Friends of Skipwith Common are a group of people who enjoy Skipwith Common and who will work to conserve it for future generations.
OBJECTIVE
In pursuit of this statement the main objective of The Friends of Skipwith Common is to harness the ideas, commitment, energy and expertise of local people for the benefit of Skipwith Common, within the aims detailed in the Skipwith Common National Nature Reserve Management Plan, through the following actions:
1 Assisting with the practical conservation of the Common by taking part in task days.
2 Fostering interest in and increasing understanding of the Common by running an events programme for all age groups.
3 Providing opportunities for Members to become involved in various projects an investigations on and off the Common.
4 Promoting the Friends of Skipwith Common via newsletters, displays and participation at local events.
5 Offering ideas for and opinions on the Common’s management plan when requested.
6 Investigating funding available to voluntary groups for specialist projects.
7 Developing Friends’ interests further through social activities both on and off the Common.
