Become A Friend

By joining the Friends of Skipwith Common, you help support the preservation of this unique landscape, one of only 15 National Nature Reserves in Yorkshire and the Humber. You can help simply by joining: Friends’ contributions support all our activities, including the costs of walk guides, purchase of materials used on Task days, maintaining our website and insurance premiums. Or you may want to help in practical ways by joining the Task Group (see Volunteering).

Friends get priority booking on guided walks and other events where numbers are limited.

Membership of the Friends group costs £7 per year (under 16s free). The Annual General Meeting of the Friends is held in November.
